I am people watching at the airport. I will describe to you one man I see.

He has big blue bug eyes that keep looking at the people who are passing by. He doesn’t look too nervous, but he seems kinda fidgety.

He has a gray shirt on with an orange coca cola symbol on it. I never knew they made it in Orange? He has a matching dark gray zip up hoodie over it.

Hurray to matching! He has dark brown hair that looks like he ran his fingers through it, nothing more. Not even a comb!

He is eating pizza and it makes me want to hug him because he is alone just watching people as they mozy off to their flights. 

Now he has a soda from Quiznos that he is holding like Nancy from weeds holds her iced coffee.

He just got up! He tossed out his pizza so he didn’t have to carry it on the plane. He coughed and turned and looked at more people getting on the plane. He is wearing sneakers that my dad would wear.

Now he is smiling at his phone.

I wonder who he is smiling at. You can see the muscles in his jaw naturally clenching as he still reads the text. Or maybe he’s reading a past text?

We are waiting to go to Kansas city.

What could he be doing in Kansas city?
